Islannin ja Britannian välissä ollut matapaine siirtyi edellisen tilanteen jälkeen lähemmäksi eteläistä Skandinaviaa. Samalla kaakosta lähestyi Suomea uusi matalapaine. Etelä-Suomi jäi kuitenkin näiden kahden matalapaineen väliin, jossa vallitsi heikko korkeapaineen selänne. Selänteen alueella ilmamassa oli edelleen lämmintä ja päivälämpötilat olivat +25 asteen tienoilla. Heikon itä - koillistuulen takia öisin oli alimmillaan vain n. +10 astetta, vaikka pilvisyyttä oli ajoittain. Meri kuitenkin lämmitti edelleen etelärannikkoa aikaisemmin mainitulla tavalla. Kuvauspäivänä Skandinavian pohjoispuolelle muodostui uusi korkeapaine ja kaakossa ollut matalapaine pyrki kierrättämään itä-koillisesta viileämpää ilmaa eteläiseen Suomeen. Tämän takia Suomen ylle muodostuivat heikot rintamat ja hyvin pientä matalapainetta etenkin kuvauspäivänä. Etelä-Suomen pilvisyytenä oli ajoittain edellisestä tilanteesta lähtien vaihtelevasti untuva-, hahtuva, kumpukerros- ja iltapäivän kumpupilviä, mutta etenkin kuvauspäivänä pilvet olivat em. rintama- ja matalapainekehityksen takia paikoin melko konvektiivisia. Kahdessa yllä olevassa saman illan kuvassa tästä nähdään esimerkit. Molemmat on kuvattu Espoon Tapiolassa ja tämä alempi kaakkoiselle taivaalle. Vallinneessa heikossa koillistuulessa seilasi tätä kumpukerrospilveä, jossa oli paikoin kuuropilvien suuntaan kehittyneitä kumpupilvikokkareita. The low pressure that was between Iceland and British Isles moved closer to southern Skandinavia after the previous situation. At the same time there approached a new low pressure from the southeast towards Finland. However southern Finland remained between these two low pressures, where there prevailed a weak ridge of high pressure. In the area of the ridge the air mass was further warm and the afternoon temperatures were around +25 C. Due to calm winds there was only about +10 C at the lowest at nights, allthough there were occasionally clouds. However the sea warmed up furthermore the southern coast in the way mentioned before. During the photoshooting day there formed a new high pressure in the northern side of Skandinavia and the low pressure in the southeast tried to circulate cool air from the east-northeast into southern Finland. Due to this there formed weak fronts and some very weak low pressures over Finland especially during the photoshooting day. The cloudyness of southern Finland was in variable ways cirrus, altocumulus, stratocumulus and afternoon cumulus clouds since the previous situation, but especially during the photoshooting day the clouds were locally rather convective due to the mentioned frontal and low pressure related progression. In the two pictures of the same evening above we see examples of that. Both are photographed in the district of Tapiola in Espoo and this lower picture towards southeastern sky. In the prevailed weak northeasterly wind there floated these stratocumulus clouds, where there was locally lumps evolved towards cumulonimbus clouds.
