Tässä ylemmässä saman illan kuvassa nähdään vallineen kumpukerrospilven pullistuneita kokkareita kuvattuna koilliselle taivaalle. Pilvet tulivat tilanteessa siten kuvaajaa kohti. Tässä nähdään, kuinka nämä pilvet olivat muodostuneet hieman myös tuulen suuntaisiksi jonoiksi. Ilmamassa oli edelleen melko kuivaa, joten tilanteessa ei ollut kunnolla konvektiota ukkospilvien syntyyn. Muutoin tilanne olisi ollut sellaiselle otollinen. Nämä kaksi kuvaa näyttävät myös sen, kuinka iltaruskon ajankohta oli siirtynyt jo noin kaksi tuntia aikaisemmaksi verrattuna kesäpäivänseisauksen ajankohtaan kesäkuun lopussa. Vaikka sää jatkui erittäin kesäisenä, niin iltojen pimeneminen antoi ensimmäiset merkit lähestyvästä syksystä. Öiden pimeneminen merkitsee tässä vaiheessa vuotta esim. kasteen esiintymisajan pidentymistä ja siten yöllä ja aamulla sumujen ja sumupilvien esiintyminen yleistyy. Ennätyskuivuus kuitenkin esti tällä kertaa aamusumujen esiintymisen tähän mennessä, vaikka tilanne muutoin olisi suosinut niitä; heikot tuulet ja ajoittain varsin selkeä taivas. In this picture of the same evening we see the flatulent clumps of the stratocumulus clouds as photographed towards northeastern sky. Therefore the clouds moved towards the photographer. In here we see, how these clouds were formed also a little into lines according to the wind. The air mass was further rather dry, so therefore there wasn't convection properly for thunder- / cumulonimbus clouds to born. Otherwise the situation would have been suitable for that. These two pictures are showing also the fact, how the time of sunset colours had been moved allready about two hours earlier as compared to the time of the summer solstice at the end of June. Allthough the weather continued very summery, darkened evenings gave the first signs of approaching autumn. The darkening of the nights means at this time of the year an increasing of the time dew appears and therefore fogs and stratus clouds are becoming more common at nights and in mornings. However this time the record breaking drought prevented the appearing of them up to this phase, allthought the situation would have otherwise been favourable to them; calm winds and occasionally rather clear sky. Smokes of the forest fires in Russia didn't reach the scene at this stage. Weather condition: choose 10.8.2006; Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.
