Tässä kuvassa nähdään paremmin lounaasta lähestyneeseen rintamaan liittyneitä pilviä. Kuva on otettu etelätaivaalle samassa paikassa ja samana päivänä kuin edellinen kuva. Alhaalla oli hahtuvapilviä, jossa oli tuo selvästi kuuropilvien suuntaan pullistunut kumpuosa; konvektion määrä alkoi kasvaa rintaman lähestyessä. Muualla kuvassa nähdään untuvapilviä. Tuo kumpumainen massa liikkui rintaman myötäisesti vallinneen tuulen mukana kaakosta luoteeseen eli kuvaajasta takaoikealle. Tässä vaiheessa kuurottaisia sateita ulottui vain Suomen lounaisimpaan kolkkaan ja seuraavaan yöhön mennessä tällä paikalla ei vielä satanut. Ilmamassa oli edelleen melko kuivaa, joten taivaan sinisyys näkyi selvästi. Tässäkin kuvassa nähdään kuitenkin ilmaa huomattavasti samentanutta metsäpalojen savua. Sen takia alhaalla taivaanrannassa nuo pilvet näyttivät tavanomaista ruskehtavammilta. Säätilanne: valitse 14.8.2006; Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.

In this picture we see better the clouds associated with the front approching from the southwest. The photo is taken towards southern sky in the same place and in the same day as the previous picture. Underneath there was altocumulus clouds, where there was that cumulus part clearly bulked into the direction of cumulonimbus clouds; the amount of convection started to increase as the front was approaching. Elsewhere in the picture we see cirrus clouds. That cumulus-like mass was moving along the front with the prevailed wind from the southeast to the northwest. In other words to the right backside of the photographer. At this stage there reached showery rain only into the most southwestern corner of Finland and there wasn't rain yet in this scene until the following night. The air mass was further rather dry, so the blueness of the sky appeared clearly. However in this picture as well we see the smoke of forest fires that blurred the air significantly. Due to that those clouds underneath in the horizon appeared more brownish than usually. Weather condition: choose 14.8.2006; Wetter3 A. Wetter3 B.
